Welcome to Tallinn, European capital of culture for 2011!
Tallinn is the capital of Estonia and it has a little more than 400 000 inhabitants.It is a beautiful Hanseatic town situated at the entrance of the Gulf of Finland by the Baltic Sea. Tallinn has the best preserved Old Town in Northern Europe (in 1997, UNESCO decided to add this beautiful place to its World Heritage list).

In the last 15 years there has been an amazing development in Estonia - especially in Tallinn. And this is something that seems to continue. Every year there has been build new stores, shopping centers, restaurants, bars, many hotels, discos, offices and renovated older buildings.  There is something for everybody - who wants to see history, who wants to shop, who wants to relax, who wants to party. Many activities for every ages in one little city - Tallinn.
