Activities for kids in Tallinn

Tallinn has a big Zoo where you can see different animals from all over the world. Today it houses more than 5,400 animals, representing nearly 350 species. During the summer petting zoo is also open. Zoo is located in Rocca Al Mare.
There are lots of different museums which may be also interesting for kids. Children’s museum which has toys from the middle ages up to the present. Kalev marzipan museum gives the best overview of the history of marzipan. Also the Open Air museum you can not only explore historical houses from the past, but also take a horse and carriage ride, meet domestic animals and have a picnic in the open air.

In shopping centers there are big play grounds for childres. Some of them are free, some aren't. There is always one adult for taking care of them.
