How to move by public transport in Tallinn?
|
The city operates a system of bus (63 lines), tram (4 lines) and trolley-bus (8 lines). In Tallinn if you take a bus, trolleybus or tram, you can buy a ticket from a driver. Remember to buy it immediately when you are entering, because driver sells tickets only at the stops. It's more expensive to buy from a driver than from a news-stand, for example R-kiosk. The ticket for one journey costs from newsstands for 13 EEK or from the driver for 20 EEK. You can also by a 10 ticket package for 90 EEK.You have to punch the ticket in the ticket machine inside the vehicle. People over 65year (also people abroad) can travel free in busses, trolleybuses and trams.
